 Terms & Conditions

  • Open to all fine artists and genres, (non-functional, originals only). 
  • All accepted entries must be hand-delivered to our premesis during receiving dates and times.
  • Submitted images are not to include framing unless the frame is an integral part of the artwork.
  • Juror may disqualify any accepted entry from awards if the work is misrepresented in the digital submission.
  • Works must be completed in the past two years and not previously accepted in the YAA Open Juried Exhibition.
  • A $35 (member) or $50 (non-member) non-refundable fee is required to enter up to three pieces. To become a member, visit: yorkartassociation.org/join-us.
  • All works must be dry and wired securely with braided wire for hanging. Saw-toothed hangers will not be accepted at intake.
  • All two dimensional work must be framed or finished in a professional manner. Canvas edges must be finished.
  • Dimensions must not exceed 48”x60”, including the frame.
  • Heavy sculpture must be handled and set up by the artist.
  • Entries may not be removed prior to the close of the exhibit (12/15/24 at 4pm).
  • All entries are insured from delivery through 12/17/2024 only.
  • Consent for image reproduction for publicity, catalog, or educational purposes is assumed upon entry.
  • Sales: YAA collects a 25% (members) or 30% (non-members) commission for all work sold during the exhibition. “Not for Sale” work must have a declared value for insurance purposes. “Price on Request” is not permitted, nor are prices for prints.
  • If unable to retrieve your art during scheduled hours, the artist must make arrangements for a representative to do so. York Art Association is not responsible for work left unclaimed after 2pm on 12/17/2024.
